2023 Uzzell Donaldson Education Scholarship
Ella McKinney
Ella is a Junior at Western Carolina University, majoring in forensic anthropology with a minor in criminal justice. She plans to further her education in med school to achieve her career goals as a forensic pathologist. In 2023, Ella was awarded the Uzzell Donaldson Education Scholarship for $1000, which she intends to utilize not only for her studies but also to participate in ASIS International and Piedmont Chapter events that provide valuable security networking opportunities.

The ASIS International Piedmont Chapter 82 was founded in October 1987 by Mack Donaldson, Gene Loye, and Randy Uzell. Since then, this chapter has served the Piedmont area of North Carolina, focusing on providing quality training and valuable security networking opportunities for veterans of the security profession, newcomers, and everyone in between.
